THANKS TO THE TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS!
The Leafs are bringing home a piece of the Rock with them today!
It has been a whirlwind of fan appreciation and exposure for Newfoundland this past week with the Toronto Maple Leafs training camp being held here in the city of St. John’s.
My family has been able to meet a few of the past and current Leaf players, attend both a practice and a game (for which my daughters Caitlin & Neve will be forever smiling about!), and enjoy the countless social media posts of the team out and about in our city just having a great time!

From coach Mike Babcock splitting cod, to the players struggling to say and decipher local Newfoundland slang, it has been awesome to see the excitement they brought and felt here.

I was lucky enough yesterday to drop off a stack of my George Street posters at Mile One to be given to all the boys in blue as a gift!
It feels pretty good to be a part of the good times they had here in St. John’s and on the street!:)
